Avoid RESPA Violations and Agent Liability
Real estate agents put their professional name on the line whenever they refer a vendor to one of their clients. RESPA recommends that agents provide their clients with three vendor names for each service request so that the client can make an unbiased selection with whom they feel most comfortable. Agents have been held liable for recommending vendors that are unlicensed, unprofessional or perform sub-par work. Agents can avoid liability issues by recommending ClubSelect to their clients as a third party facilitator of vendor services.
